Apple Store : San Francisco

I’ve been asked to come and speak about what I do as an artist.
So if your up in the city tomorrow evening and want to know a bit more about me and my work drop on by the Apple Store on One Stockton Street.

I will be speaking from 6:30 to 7:30 on how I started, my influences, and give examples on process steps for projects. Time allowing I’ll try and do a bit of art.

APPLE STORE (SAN FRANCISCO)

This THURS. from 6:30 to 7PM I'll be speaking on my art and work process at the Apple Store up in the city.

Spent some time sprucing up my wall at Kaleid Gallery with a new paint job and some framed work. The tagging was tape style due to time. I’ll be throwing some more large ones up soon.
All original work is $65 even the BIG ONES. Pieces are mixed with acrylic washes, pen, and pencil. Work is done on 9x12 Canson 96lb Bristol and 18x24 Strathmore Coldpress 140lb Watercolor Paper.

Just started with my pen with this one.


Once my line work is down I went straight for the paint and started laying down my washes of color.


I went a bit more abstract with this one.


After laying down all my light and dark tone marks I follow up with laying down my flat colors on the skull and the spinal cord.


Now that those are done I move back in with my pen and sharpen lines out.


Finally I then take another color and put a little shadow down.
There you have it. On to the next one with a bit more movement.
